NEW YEAR, NEW START. 


Is a brand new year and I guess everyone will be writing status everywhere..
Btw, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Apparently, I spent my Christmas and my New Year in Klang.
Basically, it was fun!!
We'd had " angmor " style dinner for Christmas and Boxing day credit to my cousins and also me, the sous chef.
I did a very great job, I think?
But, of course, they did much much much much better than me hahaha.
The best is the Chef lol.
Give you lotsa likes!
Well, let's start from the Christmas first.

C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S.
We had a very rush preparation for our Christmas Day.
We supposed to buy our turkey on the Christmas Eve but we can't find in the grocery stores nearby my aunt's house.
The reason to buy a day before Christmas is because Turkeys are imported from somewhere else and they're all frozen. Plus! Turkeys size are huge, so we need to put overnight to let it defrost.
But, toooooo bad. We only managed to buy the turkey on the Christmas morning.
So, we went all the way to Subang from Klang just to buy some ingredients that we need.
The main dish is still the Turkey lah.
We bought turkey, some herbs like parsley, rosemary, then potatoes....
After spending almost HALF a day in Subang, we finally got to prepare our Christmas Dinner.
It was a raining day, I remembered. ( But that's not so important actually == )
Then, we rushed back to my uncle's house because his kitchen is bigger to defrost the fucking turkey.
OMG! I'm not gonna lie, the fucking turkey is fucking hard to defrost because it's fucking body size is too fucking big and we spent most of our time on that fucking turkey.
I'm serious lol.

Then, we prepared Roasted potatoes.

Ingredients : 
Potatoes, some rosemary, duck fats ( you can use veg oil or goose fats )

Preparation time :
About 15 mins ( depend how fast we prepare )

Cook time :
IDK! About 45 mins to 1 hr, I think?

Firstly, we have to peel the potatoes.
After peeling and cleaning the potatoes, cut them into even-sized. But not too big.
Next, preheat the over to..... I don't know how many C because we used Air-fryer.
Then, boiled the potatoes to soften the potatoes but not too soft.
After boiling the potatoes, drain it and seasoned it with salt, pepper and duck fats.
Next, roast it! ( Air-fryer took us about uncountable 15 mins to roast it. )

After preparing the potatoes, it is already dinner time. ==
Everyone were soooooooooo hungry so they decided to order KFC.

Then, we prepared mashed sweet potatoes.

Ingredients :
Sweet potatoes.

Peeled the potatoes and clean it.
Then, boiled them till it turned super soft.
Seasoned it with some salt and pepper, then mashed it.
DONE!

After preparing that mashed potatoes,
We'd SAUSAGE WRAPPED WITH BACON!
OMG! This dish is the best among all hahahaha.

Ingredients :
Sausage & bacon.

Wrap the sausage with bacon, and roast it.

So the turkey is finally defrost.
We cooked glutinous rice with pork and duck which is so cincai but ended up with good taste.
Then, we stuck the rice into the turkey just to fill up the turkey.
Then, put back into the oven.
THE TURKEY TAKES TIME TO COOK TOO!!!!

Okay, then we prepared Caesar Salad.

Ingredients :
Whatever veg. you like.

Mix the veg with the Caesar sauce.

So our Christmas Dinner ended with satisfaction and fun.

B-O-X-I-N-G D-A-Y.
So, we'd some leftover food from Christmas Dinner and we decided to cook it with some new dishes.
We went to Tesco, to buy some pasta and potatoes.
Then, we cooked pasta with the leftover turkey and baked it with cheese.
OMG! IT TASTE SOOOOOOO GOOD!

I spent my new year eve in my cousin's small small countdown party.
Then we went back home because my angmor cousin need to pack her stuffs and prepare to go home.
