HOPING FOR A BETTER 2020.🌈
Year 2020 has been tough so far.
Early this year, the lungs of our Mother Earth, the Amazon Rainforest was on fire, then later the forest in Australia was on fire too.
At the end of year 2019, China has announced a serious virus outbreak in a city called Wuhan.
It was started from the city and expanded nationwide.
China government lockdown the city and only opened up on March 2020.
The virus was called Wuhan virus and WHO decided to named it Corona virus aka Covid-19.
Yes, it does affect the whole world and also myself.
Flights were drastically cancelled to and from China.
The government stopped China people from entering into their country and of course the locals weren't allowed to fly out from the country too.
Due to the serious outbreak, the world's economy was down because the main source was shut down.
But who would ever think the virus would spread worldwide?
WHO WOULD THINK THAT ONE DAY, MALAYSIA WILL ENCOUNTERED LOCKDOWN SITUATION TOO?
According to WHO, the virus slows down in tropical countries like us.
BUT NOT ANYMORE.
Malaysia was one of the safest country from the virus as it only has like a total of 20 cases in a few months.
I know many people will be blaming the Tabligh event that held in Sri Petaling mosque because when the serious outbreak happened, I did the same thing too.
Cases increased drastically from 20 to 90, then 200, and now approximately 2000 cases we have in total.
At least 100 - 200 new cases found everyday, never missed.
Hence, our government implemented a massive lockdown which also known as Restrict Movement Order (RMO) or Movement Control Order (MCO) from 18th March till 31st March initially.
However, infected cases has been increasing drastically daily and so do death.
So, they made a decision to extend MCO for another 2 weeks till 14th April.
But at the same time, many people started complaining again.
IS THIS HUMAN'S NATURE?
LIKES TO COMPLAIN AND NOT FEELING BLESSED?
Many people faced a huge financial problems because they worked their ass off to get paid especially the employers.
Events and classes were forced to cancelled, wedding banquets were forced to postponed and even funerals are not allowed to hold in mass.
However, if we try to turn the ball around and look at the good side.
Isn't it a good opportunity to spend time with our family?
Isn't it a good opportunity to give ourselves a good rest after working so hard without declaring any leaves?
Isn't it a good opportunity to do something that you always wanted to do but no time to do?
Isn't is a good opportunity to increase your knowledge and learn more about yourself?
I struggled too.
I resigned from my previous company and I told myself to find a job after CNY.
Unfortunately, I was stuck with MCO and jobs applicants were forced to stop at the moment.
IT SUCKS!😩😫
In order to stop the virus from spreading. it is very important for us to do our part to stay at home and work from home.
Of course sanitising and washing your hands are important too.
Only go out if is necessary such as buying weekly groceries.
Also, only ONE person is allowed to buy groceries for the family.
FRONTLINES ARE WORKING SO HARD TO FIGHT FOR US!
ISN'T IT OUR JOB TO COOPERATE WITH THEM TO FIGHT THIS VIRUS TOGETHER?!
I went out to get some groceries at the supermarket last week and there were still a lot people wandering around like nobody's business.
THESE PEOPLE SHOPPED IN GROUPS WTH.🙄
DO THEY EVEN UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF "ONLY ONE PERSON IS ALLOWED TO GET GROCERIES FOR THE FAMILY?"
WHERE ARE THEIR BRAINS WTF.
I also saw people stocking up food like crazy in the supermarket.
I can't even find a loaf of bread.
NOT A SINGLE LOAF.
I had to go to the nearest 7-Eleven and 99 Speedmart to look for bread.
DUH? NO STOCK ALSO LA OF COURSE.
The bread shelves were empty LOL.
STOCK UP WITHIN YOUR LIMITS! DON'T WASTE FOOD!
Many people need food too!
Don't stock up more than your needs, after all veggies cannot leave in the refrigerator for months?
Bread will be expired in a few days too.
I saw many people overbought as if the world is going to shut down forever!
SUPERMARKETS ARE STILL OPEN FOR YOU IN THIS PERIOD OF TIME.
AGAIN, BUY WITHIN YOUR LIMITS!
THESE PEOPLE NEED SOME EDUCATION.
China people were so cooperative with each other that they had successfully won this war against the virus.
What we need to do is to stay at home, avoid meetings and mass gathering in this period of time.
I MISS MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TOO!
But thanks to the advanced technologies we have, we are able to meet each other in Zoom.
After rain there's a rainbow.
After a storm there's a calm.
After the night there's a morning and after an end there's a new beginning.
WE ALL CAN DO THIS TOGETHER!💪🏻
